For businesses

Take the payment.
Keep the whole record.

Card terminals, online checkout and recurring billing, settling into accounts you control — with the sale, the fee, the payout and the refund on one ledger instead of four exports.

Free to open. We verify the business before it can hold money — that is the slow part, and it happens once.

Ways to get paid

Three ways money arrives.
One place it lands.

A customer paying at the counter, on your site and on a subscription is the same customer. The platform treats them that way.

At the counter

Countertop and handheld terminals. Tap, chip and swipe, tipping, split bills and refunds on the device.

  • Offline capture

Online

A hosted checkout, payment links you can send in a message, or a drop-in component in your own page.

  • Hosted or embedded
  • Saved cards
  • 3-D Secure handled

On a schedule

Subscriptions, instalments and invoices that bill themselves, with retries that stop chasing a dead card.

  • Subscriptions and instalments
  • Automatic retries
  • Dunning emails

ePOS

The till and the terminal
are the same thing.

Most counters run a point-of-sale system that talks to a card machine and hopes the two agree at the end of the day. Here they are one device and one record.

Sell and settle on one device

Items, modifiers, discounts and tips on the terminal itself, so the sale and the payment are the same record.

Keeps working when the line drops

Takes payments offline and reconciles when the connection returns. A dead router stops the internet, not the queue.

One back office across locations

Staff, products, prices and reporting across every site, reading the same figures the payments side uses.

After the sale

Taking the money is the easy half.
The rest is where it goes.

Accounts, conversion and payouts are part of the same product, not a second provider you reconcile against at month end.

Settlement you can predict

Pick the schedule. Every payout lists the transactions inside it, so a figure in your bank reconciles to a set of sales rather than to a guess.

Balances in the currencies you sell in

Hold what you take rather than converting on the way in, and convert when the rate suits you instead of when the settlement runs.

Pay out from the same balance

Suppliers, staff and refunds come out of the money that came in — not out of a separate account you have to keep topping up.

Needs approval

Paying people

Money goes out too.
Payroll and batch payouts.

Funded from the balances you have already taken in, approved before anything leaves, and recorded on the same ledger as the sales that paid for it.

Payroll run, pending approval

One run, several currencies

Each person is set up in the currency they are paid in, and a single run pays all of them from the balances you hold.

Nothing leaves without approval

A run is prepared, reviewed and then released. Payslips are generated against the run afterwards.

Batch import, validated before send

Import the file you already have

A spreadsheet of suppliers or contractors becomes one batch. Rows are validated on import, before anything is sent.

Bad rows are named, not counted

A missing account number or currency is flagged against the person it belongs to, so it is fixed rather than hunted for.

Back office

Built for more than one person
handling the money.

Roles, not a shared login

A manager who can refund, a clerk who cannot, an accountant who can only read. Every action carries the name of whoever took it.

Approvals before money leaves

Payouts above a threshold wait for a second person. Nothing leaves the account because one login was left open.

Reporting off the ledger

Not a nightly export that drifts. The figures on screen are the same entries the balance is made of.

APIs and webhooks

The endpoints the product itself uses, with signed events, retries, and replay for the window your side was down.

Questions

The ones
everybody asks first.

What can a Linea Tech business account actually do?

Take card payments in person, online and on a recurring schedule; hold the proceeds in balances you control; convert between currencies; and pay suppliers, staff and refunds back out. The sale, its fee, its settlement and any refund are entries on one ledger rather than four separate exports.

Do I need a separate point-of-sale system?

No. The terminal is the till. Items, modifiers, discounts and tips are on the device itself, so the sale and the payment are a single record instead of two systems that have to be reconciled at the end of the day.

What happens if the internet goes down mid-service?

The terminal keeps taking payments offline and reconciles them when the connection returns. A dropped line stops the internet, not the queue.

How quickly do I get the money?

You choose the settlement schedule. Every payout itemises the transactions inside it, so the figure that lands in your bank reconciles to a specific set of sales rather than to a total you have to work backwards from.

Can I take payments in more than one currency?

Yes, and you can hold what you take rather than converting on the way in. Conversion happens when you choose it, at a rate shown before you confirm, and is itemised afterwards.

Can more than one person use the account?

Yes. Roles are granular — a manager who can refund, a clerk who cannot, an accountant who can only read. Every action is recorded against whoever took it, and payouts above a threshold you set wait for a second person to approve them.

Is there an API?

Yes, and it is the same set of endpoints the product itself uses. Webhooks are signed, retried, and replayable for the window your side was unavailable.

What does it cost?

Interchange is passed through at cost with our margin stated separately, plus a monthly line per terminal. There is no monthly minimum and no setup fee. We do not publish a headline rate because the right number depends on what you sell and how customers pay — tell us your volume and average transaction and we will put one in writing.
